This dairy-free smoothie is a satisfying choice for a snack or a substantial breakfast drink. It combines banana with soya milk, a touch of honey and a hint of warming nutmeg. Banana, Honey and Hazelnut Smoothie

Ingredients

  • 1 peeled, sliced banana
  • 250ml soya milk
  • 1 tsp honey
  • a little grated nutmeg
  • 2 tsp chopped hazelnuts to serve

Method

  1. Place the peeled and sliced banana into a blender with the soya milk, honey and a small amount of grated nutmeg.
  2. Blend all the ingredients together until you achieve a completely smooth consistency.
  3. Divide the blended smoothie equally between two large serving glasses.
  4. Finish by sprinkling the toasted, chopped hazelnuts over the top of each glass before serving.
